About Us
Oiada International

Oiada International is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization  that has been providing educational/cultural programs and services that compliment a schools or organizations' core curriculum/program since 1997. In 2009, through a generous donation from our premier sponsor, Polycom, we opened our 21st century videoconferencing centers in New Jersey, USA and Ghana, Africa where we connect schools around the world for students to engage in our distance learning programs. Since the opening of our centers, over 300,000 students in 50 states and several countries worldwide have engaged in "LIVE" face to face interaction via video conference.

In addition to the educational benefits, our videoconferencing programs expose students to people from different cultural, religious, geographic and socio-economic backgrounds and in so doing we provide the opportunity for students to develop a greater understanding of cultural diversity. Our program allows students to interact with and learn from people from around the world who are different from themselves and to participate in new and unique experiences beyond their own communities. These cultural exchanges assists students to develop positive relationships with one another, understand a broader range of cultural perspectives, and develop the knowledge and skills needed for participation in our global society.

Oiada is the USDLA 2015 Platinum Award winner for Video Conference programming. This is the top award presented by the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) to programs that are rated the best in the world.  We also recieved the 2015 CILC Pinnacle award for outstanding performance by a content provider.

Meet The Team
“Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishment toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.”
