Requirements for Trip

Passport

Visa

Vaccination

As with any overseas destination, you’ll need a valid passport book to visit Ghana. The Ghanaian authorities require that at least six months validity remains on your passport, so check the date when you book your flights. If necessary, renew your passport, either by mail or, if you’re traveling in the next few weeks, in person at a regional passport agency.
You must apply for a visa to enter Ghana before you travel. The Ghanaian embassy recommends making your application between two and four weeks before your departure date. The travel agent will obtain your Visa 2 weeks before the trip.
Single Entry- $60.00
Multiple Entry- $100.00
Visa Application
Yellow Fever is the only required vaccination for Ghana. Proof of your Yellow Fever vaccination is required for entry and exit, so you’ll want to have it with you in a safe but easily accessible place in your carry-on bag. Schedule your appointment to receive the Yellow Fever vaccine as far in advance of your departure date as possible, and put your certification card at the top of your packing list.

Bust/Chest: Measure around fullest part of bust or chest, with measuring tape under the arms and around shoulder blades.

Waist: Measure under clothing around your natural waistline.

Hips: Measure hip size around the fullest part of your hips, below waistline.

Inseam: Use a pair of pants that fit well in length and measure the pants from the crotch to the hem of the leg.

Neck: Measure around the neck as close to the shoulder as possible. Sticking two fingers inside the tape will ensure enough ease for proper fitting.

Sleeve: Measure from the shoulder blade over the elbow to the wrist with the arm stretched forward.
